“We Serve”

For more than sixty years, the West Corners Lions Club has been doing the quiet, practical work this community needs — screening children’s eyesight, funding scholarships, restocking food pantries, and showing up for neighbors facing a hard week. We’re a local club with a worldwide motto, and we’ve been part of West Corners the whole time.

What we do

The club’s work comes in two halves. Our service projects are the work itself — vision screening for schoolchildren, scholarships for local students, food pantry support, holiday help for families, and more. Our fundraisers — the chicken BBQs, the Turkey Party, the Christmas Tree Sales — are how that work gets paid for.

•       Service — what the club does for the community

•       Fundraisers — the events that pay for it, and how to support them

•       About — our history and how the club works

•       Contact — how to reach us, and how to get involved

When and where we meet

We generally meet the 1st and 3rd Thursdays at 6:30 PM at Most Holy Rosary Church, 2596 Main Street, Maine, NY 13802.

Visitors are always welcome — come see what the club is about.

Get involved

You don’t have to join the club to be part of what it does. Come to a meeting, lend a hand at a food drive or a card-signing, or support a fundraiser. If any of the work on this site sounds like something you’d want to be part of, our Contact page is the place to start.
